Whiter Than Snow

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.
~ Ps. 51:7

Something we don't see very often in South Carolina - freshly fallen snow...  but there is something about it that can't be described.  Here in Denver - they are used to it...  tonight it's falling at a pretty good clip - covering everything in a blanket of white...  and I can't help but think of Ps. 51...  like the winter streets in Denver - I am dirty and ugly...  and yet, like the beautiful snow covering all that - so has the Lord Jesus blotted out all my iniquities... covering me with His precious blood - so that I too am beautiful in His sight.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. ~ Ps. 51.10
