The Lord blessed me abundantly this week with an opportunity to spend time with dear friends in an amazing location. Stephanie & Mark Robinson (and little Savannah) happened to be in Colorado Springs (from Houston!) and I was in Denver. We made tentative plans to meet for a few stolen moments together...

As it turns out Deedra (my friend and fellow-coworker/Denver roommate!) needed to head to the Spring to check out the castle as a possible member care retreat location. So, arrangements were made and we set out this morning. Below you'll see pics from the adventure... enjoy!

Caught off Guard

Like these poor tulips, we are often caught off guard by some change we weren't expecting. Isn't it good to know that God is NEVER caught off guard? Indeed, He will fulfill ALL His promises!

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plan for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jer. 29:11, ESV)
